Library in Rural Area – Concept in Hills of Uttrakhand
A rural Library for small kids can be a wonderful resource for early childhood education and literacy development. This concept comes into my mind when I spent approximately 2 years in my hometown, a rural area in Uttarakhand state, during the coronavirus period, along with my two daughters. I realized that the kids were very much excited to see small toys, coloring books, and small story books, which I gave them to see their reaction. It was such a beautiful experience to see their smiling faces.
This is where The Library Project comes in.
So, as per the plan, finally, we are going to open a small library as a pilot project in District Almora..
This library project in rural areas –provides access to quality libraries, to give children the opportunity to read more often and improve their education as well.
I am sure that these types of books, children will enjoy and will also get some motivation at an early age.
